Undergraduate research is a theme that extends across all aspects of my career. I am a Councilor for the Geosciences Division of the Council on Undergraduate Research and have been facilitating faculty development workshops on undergraduate research mentoring since 2009. My scholarly work on undergraduate research focuses on team-based and multi-mentoring strategies. I am currently working on a GeoPATHS project with Dr. Greg Wiles (Wooster) to develop a Geoscience Learning Ecosystem to engage early-career students from historically marginalized groups in an authentic, community-driven, project-based experience, supported by near-peer mentors.
